A family-centered psychotherapy practice for children, adolescents, and adults. My work is grounded in mindfulness, collaboration, and an appreciation of family strengths and feedback.
Parent Consultation and Family Therapy
All parenting can be stressful and demanding at times. Parenting children with social, emotional and/or behavioral problems can be extremely challenging. Parents of kids with learning differences, anxiety, emotion regulation problems, or medical needs benefit significantly from extra tools and support. I work with parents to help them learn the best ways to communicate with their children, to respond effectively to their needs, and to take care of themselves in the process.
Families going through life transitions such as divorce, loss, illness, or parental substance abuse often experience significant anxiety and distress as they adjust to changes and try to remain strong and connected through adversity. The family therapy that I provide helps families to build resilience and competence in the context of life’s most painful struggles and traumas.
