A relational psychotherapy practice for adolescents and adults. My work is grounded in mindfulness, collaboration, and an appreciation of strengths and feedback.
Parent consultation and family therapy
All parenting can be stressful and demanding at times. Parenting children with social, emotional and/or behavioral problems can be extremely challenging. Parents of kids with learning differences, anxiety, emotion regulation problems, or medical needs benefit significantly from extra tools and support. I work with parents to help them learn the best ways to communicate with their children, to respond effectively to their needs, and to take care of themselves in the process.
Families going through life transitions such as divorce, loss, illness, acculturation issues, or parental substance abuse often experience significant anxiety and distress as they adjust to changes and try to remain strong and connected through adversity. The family therapy that I provide helps families to build resilience and competence in the context of life’s most painful struggles and traumas.

Clinical supervision and supervisor coaching
I provide trauma-informed and reflective supervision to psychology students, interns, and postdoctoral fellows. I also provide coaching and clinical consultation to licensed psychotherapists and supervisors who want to deepen their therapy and supervision skills. With many years of serving multi-stressed families and marginalized populations, I am committed to helping early clinicians develop culturally responsive and competent treatment practices.
